Christian Ministry and Evangelism
William Cody Bateman first preached of Jesus Christ and His resurrection at a Missionary Conference in 1979. From that time on, he has remained willing to travel wherever and whenever the Lord calls. To this end, he has continues the joy of proclaiming Jesus Christ to fellowships, men’s conferences and home studies across denominational lines for nearly 30 years.
As an itinerate evangelist and long distance hiker, Mr. Bateman has traveled more than 2,000 miles on foot along the famous Appalachian Trail sharing the hope and salvation found only in a real and repentant relationship with God the Son, Jesus Christ. As a storyteller, he takes his many real-life adventures confronting dangerous mountain summits, raging rivers, physical injuries and trail confrontations with wildlife and unbeliever unlike - and folds folds them into practical bible application.
Husband and Fatherhood
A father to a blended family of 16, he has experienced the joys and tragedies found in raising a family in the midst of a world wrought with spiritual compromise, seductions and false values. He and his whole family are itinerate missionaries. There love of God and His Word has compelled them to share in the ministry of reconciliation literally around the world - Ireland, Costa Rica, Florida, Appalachian Trail, Montana, Uganda, Georgia, Michigan, Indiana and more…
Formerly a single-parent father of four sons; William has shared openly his own struggles fathering a hurting family and yet, keeping his eyes on God’s help in time of need. As a father to a very large blended family, He and his wife aided various fellowships in establishing “DivorceCare” ministries in several locations.
Corporate vs. Family Issues
A former mid-level executive with the premier golf resort destination in the world at the renowned Sea Island Resort was the capstone of corporate accomplishment for Mr. Bateman. And, as a “corporate man” living and working in such a worldly, seductive environment has given him a “birds eye” perspective on living a holy life in Christ while balancing the obligations of family and the corporate world. With more than 30 years experience in the corporate world at various levels of management and as a contractor during the Atlanta Olympics; William understands what most young fathers are being confronted with - in relationship to providing for family and wife spiritual, physical, emotional and financial needs according the the Bible’s Book of Proverbs.
Media Exposure
William Cody Bateman has been featured on National Public Radio (NPR), Miami Herald, International Spanish Television Network’s Univision and Telemundo, Dr. D. James Kennedy’s radio program, “Mid-day Connection”, various Christian radio stations and news print outlets, featured publications in magazines such as Faithwriter, Successful Single Parenting, Keynote speaker at various youth rallies and Contemporary Christian Music concerts, corporate presentations to Carnival Cruise Lines, Aviation Parts Services, Bank United of Florida, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Cingular Wireless and numerous denominational fellowships all over the eastern United States.

In times of need I am looking for prayer help, from other christians.
I was layed off for over 3 months this spring time. Which has put us way behing in bills.
I am fortunate to be back to work now, even if it does pay $2 hour less. This is helping us get back on track. We also picked up a pretty good wholesale account, which in the long run is going to help us more.
What we need prayer for is that all the bills we were are behind. We need something to happen to catch up with these bills, and get rid of them.
Thank you very much, and God bless.
