benzergreat read
GHOSTING MIRANDAVery good blog. I have always been fascinated by WWII. My grandfather actually a concentration camp. The only way I learn more about the war is when people write about it. My Grandfather doesn't talk about and never will.
KevinVery intesting blog with fascinating information. As a previous blogger mentioned, you are indeed keeping history alive.
A.J.Hey Victoria. I have posted a comment on another website regarding what happened to the Jews during World War II. What I have said on that website is that I don't believe Germans, mainly Christians, should be ashamed anymore of what happened during World War II and that they shouldn't be hunted like animals and tried for crimes year after year after year.
Well, does this mean I'm anti-Semetic? Absolutely not. I just think there is a disproportionate focus on the Jewish side of the story. No doubt, wholescale slaughter of millions of people - what people normally refer to as the term genocide - is never the answer. However, if you were a German during that time, should you feel guilty for being German? Doesn't Germany have the right to be proud even today?
I'd like to say that when I posted this kind of thinking on the other website, I was immediately threatened by others. Specifically, they threatened to fire me from a job. So, whoever reads this, please bear in mind that I don't write my opinions to offend an entire race, religious, or anything of that nature.
As somebody who loves Christianity, I'm looking out for my Christian brothers in Germany. May the Lord guide Christians all over the world.
VictoriaCGGreat Blog. I'm studying the effects and circumstances of World War II and the Nazi German. I am so wondering what a person can do today, 2008 to effect justice and recovery for those who have suffered so much. I realize a lot of survivors are already passed away, but, stil; they have family survivors who are just as horified about the tragic and horrible war crimes of Nazi Germany.
The Horror of the holocaust victums can't be overcome by a few years of passing out of the mind. Somehow, Justice must prevail, even if the families of the German Nazi Party members have to pay for these crimes. (And, I personally think they should have to)
How could anyone carry out orders contrary to human mercy? Must not Germany and Japan Continue to pay money for forced labor until it is satisfactory. Help me find a way to become involved in this mission for justice. Thanks, VCG
