Currenlty discussing animal photography, pets, wildlife, and pet behavior
A blog dedicated to Animal Lovers with a connection to those who lend to Kiva.
My concern here is with the ethical treatment of animals. Many zoos don't put that first. Many are more interested in commercial aspects (profits, even though most are so-called non-profits; salaries, etc.). I would prefer wild animals to be allowed to be in the wild, molested as little as possible (only truly thoughtful, humane treatment); however, there are so many other humans who do nothing but hunt animals and ruin habitats no matter the consequences, long-or short-term. This site appears to show care about animal welfare in zoos and out.
