Hello all
I am also unemployed and like many of you I haven't seen a dime. its been 7 weeks and i can't get a hold of anyone. I am past not paying my bills i let them all go. Pretty soon however I won't be able to eat.

I am getting discusted as well. It has been since May 13th for heavens sake since I filed. I have gotten the run around. I have rent and bills to pay. The car doesn't run on piss or methane.

I was on pennslyvanias extended benefit program and they have told me that at the change of every quarter i have to reapply for florida UC even if i am ineligable. I was also told that i should tell florida that the claim should start on july 5 the begining of the new quarter. The only thing wrong with that there is no where on the application to indicate this therefore i have already lost out on two weeks of UC because of when i actualy filed my claim on wednesday july 22. If i am ineligable i can fall back on PA's UC but i wont be able to do that until afinacil determination is made which could take another two weeks. What i want to jknow is what im supposed to do for money in the mean time? mad and unemployed in FLA

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCEARN: I FILED A UNEMPLOYMENT CLAIM ON APRIL 22,2009 . EVERY TIME I TRY TO CALL TO FIND OUT WHEN I WILL BE RECEIVING A CHECK.IF, I GET THROUGH TO SPEAK WITH SOMEONE THEY CAN'T SEEM TO GIVE ME ANY INFORMATION OTHER THAN IT IS STILL UNDER REVIEW. IT IS NOW JULY 3,2009 THAT IS A REALLY LONG TIME TO BE UNDER REVIEW .YOUR PHONES ARE IMPOSSIBLE!!! COULD SOMEONE PLEASE LET ME KNOW SOMETHING VIA EMAIL I AM STARVING.

the 'glitch' with the online system is a scam for the state to earn money. the longer they keep the money the more interest it accumulates(this is why some employers pay every 2 weeks instead of weekly)the money is not theirs it does not technically exist but they can still collect interest if they keep it in the bank.i have a lot of freinds that are programers and they know (as do i) that such a simple website error could be fixed in a matter of minutes not days

I would like to know what that state of Florida is doing with the Obama extension. The internet site says the Fl. Legislature passed Senate Bill 810 and that would result in Extended Benefits retroactively week beginning Feb 22,2009. They also say the Agency is undergoing extensive reprogramming of their computer systems and they will mail a notice/application by July. I (like many others) ran out of funds April 7. What in the world are we to do to keep a roof over our heads and food on the table while you reprogram your computers?? I am very sure our President signed that extension soon after taking office so this very thing wouldn't happen. Why are other states receiving their extension. I think we all need to email the White House as those are federal funds. Why if they are giving out the additional $25 why not the extension when they are in the same package. This is not state money. The state hired 200 temp. workers in Orlando to answer phones I am sure they are being paid out of these funds while we get nothing . My next email will be to President Obama and I will also be faxing a copy of the Extended Benefits notice. It is at http://www.floridajobs.org/unemployment/EB/EB_FAQ_Answers.html. I too am getting fed up waiting for my check. I have been waiting for months.My phone has now been shut off and I am unable to pay my car insurance.I would like to keep looking for a new job but I can barely scrounge up gas money these days. Is there any way I can know when my check will be released?

I had no write ups during my time of employment.I did everything that was asked of me during my employment with Helment house.The house passed the final electrical inspection. I did not have any complaints from Helmet house when I was working. The job was a started when I worked for Brewer Eletric. Brewer went out of business. Helmet house wanted me to finish the job so Brewer said he would have me finish the job under his licence and Helment house would have to pay me. All the work that was done was done to Helment House satisfaction,except anything that was a eletrcical violation. I would not do anything that is a violation to the eletrical code.

What in the word is going on with this agency? I haven't received a check for the month of January yet!
I am disgusted with this service. I can't ever get in touch with anyone either by phone nor email.
I am unemployeed and I am not able to pay my cobra insurance payment because I have not received my checks.
What am I supose to do? This is money that is owed to me and is being withheld.
I had attempted to contact someone via email, but no one has replied.
What is a person to do?

sirs My original claim has a balance of $98.00 I can not speak to a live voice. The internet is a problem I downladed the extension form and mailed it to Talahassee. Along with a change of address. I have not recived any resonse email or US mail.
