I like that mantra Amy...well said and it's right on point! Never hold back...it may costs you thousands! I'm learning just to say things quickly now because I've missed out on millions by not being very aggressive when I 1st started in biz...
Amy...you keep very busy 24/7...hogs, bees, kids, a garden, blogging...when's your cookbook coming out?

6. Not much these days, I must admit...
7. I have a whole deck of cards.
What's your mantra? "Why is everyone so @#$%ing stupid?" (~ Kim Jong Il in "Team America; World Police.")-
I'm sitting around, recovering from surgery for 2 weeks. Plenty of time for me right now. *LOL* Unfortunately I'm already at the point where I just want to be ALL BETTER already, but it's a process...
I love working at the library, personally. It's the one in my own, small hometown, it's relatively stress-free & my coworkers are great. Being a tax-funded institution which was just renewed for another 15 years, I have more job security than most, too.

Web programmer by profession. I am getting into internet marketing - SEO in particular. Unmarried. I like to travel. Hill stations in particular. Hardest part of my job recently is convincing the boss get more skilled workers for better pay.

I'm a freelance writer/editor. I write and edit nonfiction, fiction, and poetry. I do magazine articles, science fiction stories, book editing, poetry fishbowls, all kinds of things. I'm also very into crowdfunded/cyberfunded creativity stuff.
"Is your work a tough business/job?"
Depends on the assignments. Some are easy, others bust my ass. When it's fun, it's flying; when it's not fun, it's very tedious.
"What's the hardest part of your business/job?"
Writing: when I'm not feeling well and have to grind out something because it's almost due. Editing: dealing with people who can't even be bothered to spellcheck their work before submitting it.
"So what do you do for fun around here?"
Reading and gardening.
"You got a card?"
Yeah, but I don't think it'll fit through the screen. Most of my career-related discussions wind up on The Wordsmith's Forge:
ysabetwordsmith.livejournal.com
Click the "writing" or "editing" links, or read my Profile.
"What's your mantra?"
1) EVERYTHING is research.
2) All jobs have parts that suck.
3) If you're not making any mistakes, you're not learning, you're coasting.
4) ... and THEN what? (A corollary to "What if...?")-
What's a poetry fishbowl? never heard the term...
Spellchecking is very important.....sometimes I'm going so fast I misspell something and it's too late because you can't edit on certain sites..I hate when that happens....Imagine having 8 million contacts you're working with and you put out un-prof looking postings...not a good thing! Sounds like you keep very busy 24/7 like me!
Ever need help keep me in mind..ok? And thanks for connecting!
Tony
Cool and well said mantra...you must fail many times while you're succeeding....you're not learning new things if you don't! Right on point!

1-My job-I used to be an accountant. Now my new job will be staying home, being a soccer mom, and helping my soon to be husband with an online business.
2-Is your work a tough business/job? No, just fun.
3-What's the hardest part of your business/job? I live 40 minutes from my kids' school, so lots of driving.
4-Are you married? Getting married in 19 days.
5-Got a family? Kids ages 5 and 7.
6-So what do you do for fun around here? In the summer, I like to hit up the local amusement/water park a lot. I also enjoy running, kayaking, snow tubing, camping, traveling.
7-You got a card? I have a library card, credit cards, and a few customer loyalty cards, lol.
Mantra-"Ask your dr. if getting off your ass is right for you"-
Me too Calais50...Cost Accountant for 11 yrs...a's and b's in accounting..BS Accounting-York College of Pa....worked 60-80 hrs a week though....
Great transition....you need a helicopter for dropping the kids off and picking them up!

Nice to meet you...
My wife and I, (her name is Gale) have just recently embarked on a new endeavor in of all things, Adult Entertainment Marketing. To be honest, the only reason we were attracted to this particular business model initially was due to the fact that management was 'pro' network marketing from the outset--Something Gale and I could appreciate; being experienced consultants/networkers ourselves over many years. The other part did not take too much convincing... Sex sells! It always has, it always will. Just ask the Googles, the Microsofts, the AT&Ts and the Marriotts of the world (to name a few) and see how much revenue they're generating FROM the Adult Entertainment industry.
I suppose the greatest challenge is helping our contacts understand that there need not be any stigma attached--It's purely a business venture we feel is positioned for tremendous global growth. And, if it's good enough for Corporate America and International conglomerates, it certainly is good enough for us and for those we introduce it to.
* The hardest part of our business? Thanks to Gale, it's me :-)
* Are we married? Yes, very.
* Family? Yes, immediate and extended.
* Fun around here? Don't know yet--too new. (Have any suggestions?) We love travel, music, comedy and art.
* Cards? Yes, and we're both playing with a full deck.
* Mantra: Work is play... and we love doing it!
All the best,
Carlo -
Is this meant to be a discussion, or is this purely a way for you to get a sense of the folks here to try to recruit them for your business ventures?
-
@tonybeach
(1) Why are you dodging answering ThriftShopRomantic's question by posing another question?
(2) Why did you remove ThriftShopRomantic from your BC friends after she asked her question?
From your activity record:
Removed ThriftShopRomantic from their friends list 11 minutes ago
(3) What is your answer to this question?
Is this meant to be a discussion, or is this purely a way for you to get a sense of the folks here to try to recruit them for your business ventures?
(4) BTW I'm not confused about what your business is. This is what you posted here www.retaggr.com/page/TwitterOnlineSystem

1st of all Timethief...This is my discussion....And I'm building relationships with people all over the world...if at some point later down the road they want information on my business then they'll get it...That's between them and I and no one else.....
She did not follow through on the discussion and answer the questions I asked.....so if she doesn't want to be a part of the discussion that I started why even join in? And why even be my friend? I'm being trained by people that are making $200,000 per month and $1.5 million per year.....We build relationships with people 24/7.....And we don't deal with negativity....We're looking for people that are looking to improve their financial situation in the long run.....And her comment led me to believe she's one that is not looking at all! So I don't waste time with people that are not looking! Does that make sense to you? I hope that I answered your question...If she still wants to be friends I can change that easily....You see I choose not to get into discussions with people that have a negative outlook on things...To be successful in life you must surround yourself with positive people 24/7 and stay away from negative people.....that's why I did what I did!
Tony -
Actually, my answer to the discussion would have been dependent on knowing whether providing it would be because it was part of a General Discussion per the parameters of BC's TOS...
Or whether my info would simply add me as one of many to a form of online telemarketing.
Having gotten my answer for that, there's no need to pursue things further. It's no big deal to have been unfriended.
I've never considered asking questions and trying to understand situations as being a part of a negative attitude-- as much as an informed one. -
That's cool have an awesome day! Much success to you always! Sorry we had to end a friendship this way....You seem like a very nice person and down to earth! You always have to have an open mind in everything you do! Being trained by the No. 1 earner in my company and a dude that has created more millionaires than anyone dead or alive....we look for people that are already motivated and want to learn more and the comment had me thinking well she must already be set and doesn't want to improve financially! If that's not true please feel free to get in touch any time you desire....
Tony -
Yep, that's absolutely true, Tony...I'm very happy with where I am. I see money as being of very little significance. I have enough to provide a comfortable home for my family and encourage my daughter's interest in music and theater--what's left after that, I give away. It's interesting to me that you see something like "making more millionaires" as an accomplishment. Just an entirely different view of the world and what's important in it, I guess. I do suggest, though, that if you hope to snag any fish here you refine your pitch a little bit. The repeated hard sell under the very thinly veiled guise of discussion probably isn't going to play well with this crowd.
-
TimeThief...please stay out of my discussions.....I'm reporting you now!
Because it appears that your just here to cause problems ..Correct?
Tony -
I don't have a mantra, but after reading yours I'm thinking mine should be something like PEOPLE ARE NOT A MEANS TO AN END. Interesting that you're "building relationships with people all over the world" even after telling them directly that they're the fish you're hoping to hook in order to put yourself on easy street.
This is a pretty intelligent crowd--I don't think you'll have much luck here. And before you ask, my "business" is going just fine, thanks--I earn a solid middle-class income from my own home, have the freedom to travel when my daughter is not in school, and the flexibility to spend a lot of time with her. And all without ever once having looked upon another person as grist for my mill. -

Sounds like a very cool job....I love your blog and the reason why you run...
Why I Run: Reason #13*
I run because diabetes SUCKS...
Diabetes is in my family and there's no way around it. All generations on both sides, so technically, I'm screwed. But, I'm not letting it stop me: I'm staying healthy for as long as I can. Complications from this awful disease took the lives of two of the most important people in my life: my Grammy and Grandpa. I miss them so much and wish I could have done something to save them, but I couldn't. Diabetes flat out sucks!
If I can help you in any way get the word out about this or your future Non-Profit please let me know ASAP! One site that I use for blog traffic has gained me 2.56 million visitors so please keep in close touch when you launch the new organization Zoe...You're an inspiration to many....

Child support Officer. It makes me happy when I can help a custodial parent to collect the child support. But It makes me very sad and I hate the part, where there is nothing that I can do to help. Today I had this mother in the office, whose child had turned 18 but not graduated yet because she was sick and had cancer. The child support had stopped because the child was over 18, but could continue if she was still a full time high school student but she was very sick and was going to spend the next 6 months at the hospital. I could not help the mother and she needed money for medication for her child. I hated that I had to tell her I could not do anything.
-
that is very sad...it would be nice to start a foundation to help people like that.....check out my profile to see if anything would help
you out! There is always something you can do help others.....start a sideline business part time like 10-15 hours per week! I know people that do that and make an additional $5k-$100k per year! It's out there if you want it! Just believe!

Work as Admin Assistant but it is a slow office much of the time with spurts of busyness. So I have time to research and write for my blog.

Hey Tony, I already have another part time job which actually takes my time more than my full time job and that is to take care of all my blogs which most of them I have not had time to add here. I offer people sometimes to email me and ask me questions about their child support problems and I be more than happy to help out. Unfortunately when it comes to law and court orders, you just have to follow and there is nothing you can do to change it if the timing is not right. I am also a full time mom, and a full time gardener and I am taking care of all my gardening. I just wish I had more time in my hands.
Today I saw this woman who came to the office to get copy of the judgment that proves Mr.X is the father. The father of this child,Mr.X, died a few days ago from a gunshot, and this lady wanted to take the judgment to the social security office to apply for survivor benefit for her daughter. We did not have a judgment and during the time that we were about to get the paternity judgment, the guy got killed. So this woman was out of luck and she started screaming at me and crying. Again there was nothing that I could do.-
WOW...anything can happen at any second..what a story!
You go through so much there on a daily basis!
Has to be rough and very stressful on you..How do you maintain and stay on top of it all?
When you're ready I'd love to share something that may help you change that in the future...then you will have more time for your blogs, family, and YOU! Stay focused!

Wow, great to see such a diverse group here. I'm a full-time freelance writer (www.writechoiceforyou.com) and mum of two young kids. I'm married and we live in Vancouver, one of the nicest cities in the world ;)Besides working and playing wife/mum,I enjoy books, fine cuisine, jogging and trying out new sports (which I'm usually not very good at ;), but persistent nonetheless). My mantra is 'think positive, live positive' and it really does work!
Hope u all have a nice day! -
