Tell me what you think about this. This is not a very new article, I have tried explaining Naomi Wolf's theory (2 years old) and added some videos and links here and there to support the sources she's referring to.
Any Americans in here that have the feeling this story has some credibility?
Step 1: Introduce an enemy causing domestic havok
Step 2: Create a new kind of prison to torture those involved in the attacks in Step 1
3. Form ´legal´ beat-em-up gangs to terrorize citizens
4. Spy on thy neighbour: automated, domestic espionage
5. Infiltrate or thoroughly investigate anti-government groups
6. Scare people by investigating and arresting key opposition figures
7. Prohibit dangerous academics and artists from sharing their opinions
8. Control the media
9. Indoctrinate people by using big words for small things
10. Martial law

well, according to Naomi Wolf it is just like that. Scary thing is she's comparing it to how the fascist states of nazi germany in ww2 and communist russia gained power

Considering that Naomi Wolf is still healthy, wealthy, and wise, and not being pecked by vultures in some Nevada desert.... Yeah, I'd say she's a liar. -
Bush is not dangerous because everybody's watching after him. When Bush wanted to give money to the bankers everybody protested. It's strange that when Obama does the same manyfolds nobody protests any more whereas the idea comes from the same banksters lobbying.
People are just blindly following leaders they don't see that their country is not governed by their president but by its financial elites.

Here's mine:
1) Convince people that individual freedom has no values and that individuals have no value.
2) Share your ideal plan for humanity, and claim that we must unite for the public good.
3) Convince the populace that those who are against you are not worthy of respect.
4) Begin using teenagers for slave labor.
5) Institute mammoth regulation of business and begin trading government-owned corporations as stocks.
6) Claim that the ice caps are melting and that all human behavior should be redirected towards preventing this.
7) Convince people to worship you, and speak like a God.
8) Use the tax code to break ex post facto and punish people you don't like.
9) Substitute "Hope and Change" for any kind of substantive debate.
10) Let the games begin!-

2. Believe everything Glenn Beck tells you.
3. Believe everything Limbaugh tells you.
4. Believe everything Ann Coulter tells you.
5. Believe everything Sarah Palin tells you.

Is it just me or do liberals attempt to win arguments by being stupid? Of course I could be making snap judgements here, or it may just be that the sample at BC are exceptionally low caliber.
There is NOTHING about conservatism that supports autocratic dictators, exalting nation above individual (far from it, we tend to go the opposite direction while you guys are off mandating community service hours out of our young and forcibly redistriubting wealth), forcible suppression of dissent (the worst we will do is laugh at you), or severe regimentation of any sort. In fact, we don't like regimenting anything! We won't regiment anything! We let it ride. YOU HAVE NO ARGUMENT.

Interestingly, Franco actually took over without any foreign threats, as did Salazar in Portugal. Foreign threats and military takeovers are really more attributes of authoritarian dictators and sometimes communists. And anyways, it is out of my distrust for those in power that I resort to a philosophy that encourages a small, unobtrusive government.

Yeah. Sped read some sections and it looks like the gist (insofar as there is one) of this report is that we are going to save money on defense by resorting to genocide.

so has anyone read the full article on actofrage.com? It goes a whole lot further than just Wolf's 10 step theory. She based it on how the fascist states in history look real similar to what's going on now
