I have a pretty high Alexa ranking, I just need to get a Google Ranking and right now, I have a 0. How do I get a Google Ranking? That is my #1 main issue right now any probably why at PPP I can only get GREEN or WHITE ads to write about.
Please, just show me how to go from a 0 to the millions in a Google Ranking.

You need to wait until the next google pagerank update cycle; I'm also waiting to get mine. It supposed to be coming up soon, though. I'm thinking i'll have a PR2.

It may be because of your association with ppp that you are not Google ranked in the first place. Have you any disclosure widgets, or worse still, any ppp "hire me" widgets? If the latter, get rid of them if you want a Google ranking, also add rel= nofollow tag to all your paid links.

Yes, but how do I "Get" my Google ranking in the first place? What do I have to do to get one? Do people add my blog page to their site, like I do to others at this website? I am still, to this day, clueless..

Alexa is pointless unless you are trying to impress other webmasters no one else gives a hoot about it. There are much more important things to concentrate on.-

I dont get it but than agian Im not a technical person they claim some weird thing site reviews down? huh? almost 16k of visits between both of my blogs I guess? Thats pretty good for me the new bloggy.. well at least I think so lol

how do you increase your Alexa Rank? Get more traffic to your site. It is that simple. Write that in your blogs. It might not get you as many readers as "Increase your Rank in 3 Easy Steps" but at least it will be true.

one way to increase your alexa rank is to just continue blogging about alexa..haha, they are one dumb company which will drop you ranking if you boost about them.. -

why people using alexa? Checkout bittbox.com. The blog owner can attract private advertiser (by showing his alexa graph traffic) to put banner sponsors on the frontpage and they would just happy to pay $100-250 a month to be listed. -

i used to have alexa 20K+ on this site of mine www.discusstv.com , it used to be a hugely popular site on indian television .
one of the main reasons of its downfall , besides competition , was server problems ... that can really create havoc on your alexa ... as you start loosing regulars . -

Alright, so how do I use this Search Engine Optimization to increase my traffic?

You target a keyword optimize your site page for that keyword get as much backlinks using your keyword as an anchor and you will get on the first page of the keyword on google and you will get traffic according to what keyword you are targetting.

Who really cares about alexa ranks anyway! As far as I am concerned with blogging it's all about sharing what you are into right? And of course traffic is awesome, as is traffic that creates a little side income from advertising, but f you do it just for that you will burn out super quick, as this web game is a long and involved process. Make a great blog or several that you are really into and be patient, write articles, build a community and the traffic will find you!
