23 blogs and counting

I just visited a member who listed 23 active blogs in their account... How is that humanly possible?

And more importantly...do you have any fingers left?

How many blogs is effectively TOO many before you spread yourself too thin and get none of them properly promoted?

I have 13 blogs. It is possible if you just work at it hundreds of hours. I just write about what I know and have an interst in. Not all of the blogs have lots of posts though.

It took me since June 07 to get up to 13 blogs.

i have 5 i only list one.. I write to one 1 to 5 times a day. the others i write to once maybe 2x a month

I have four, plus a group blog, plus two group blogs that I write for, and have another in the pipeline. I try to make sure there is at least one feature a week, but also have shorter bits and bobs--a photo a day for the four raven blogs.

I'm not sure I could manage 23, as I don't have 23 things that I'm that interested in, but I see my blogs as aspects of a unit rather than wholly separate entities.

Since I am someone who has quite a few blogs, I’ll at least respond from my own perspective. A majority of the blogs I created exist because I have a variety of artistic directions past and present that I wish to cover in separate blogs. These blogs are now part of my artistic process – whether they contain finished work, unfinished work, photos or sketches. They are not intended to be the typical blogs that have daily entries and make a lot of money. They are evolving as I work through where I’ve been and where I’m going.

By having my blogs all connected I figure visitors have a chance to wander around. Since I do monitor the traffic through Google AdSense, I notice a good majority of them are seen daily.

My blogging is a solo effort. The photos, artwork, video and writings are all my doing. I’m enjoying tinkering with the technology.

I do have some blogs that feature videos not made by me. Being an artist, I am reacting to the video-sharing craze. I blog about some other interests as well.

As well as running 3 blogs I also run a medical inspired website for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. I have just added the forums so I will see how that goes.

But since starting this site, It has been approved by the Australian Medical Board, Which shocked me. Plus is is advertised in many doctors surgeries

Hopefully I will have the time to change the site and colour soon, I want it to look fresh

Ahhh... well I stand corrected. 23 blogs is old news. I just ran across a member on BlogLog that had 30 some blogs listed. I stopped counting after I crossed 35.... All different.

Hmm.. I've got 14 now in my profile as I installed the code on new Network templates .. Next month I will be starting Round 2 and adding another 11 sites over Feb/Mar.. and probably 6 more in mar/apr ..

23 blogs, I hope he is making serious money! The major problems having lot of blogs is that you can't write or update qualities articles regularly. Well I hope in the future I could own 23 sites but with the support of a team!
