It's Lonnie. I recently received a message from one of the members asking, "Lonnie, who are you?" Although I have "About Me" pages all over the web universe, I decided to post 25 Random Things about me on my Blog, in hopes that you might get to know me better. I like your random things, Lonnie. Great idea!
I'll only include 10 of mine.
1. I am relentless.
2. I won second place in a debutantes ball millions of years ago (I'm from the Bronx, which is a wonderful place, though I never would have thought they did these here)
3. I went to school in Louisiana for one year when I was 19 and had the time of my life. (Grambling State)
4. Though my Father was born and raised on the island of Jamaica, I've never been there.
5. I used to teach creative writing to children in homeless shelters in the Bronx and Manhattan.
6. I absolutely love turkey bacon.
7. I think turkey sausage is not an altogther bad idea.
8. I found myself alone and 'stuck' in Paris on 9/ll.
9. I am a big fan of Lisa Bonet.
10. 'Angel Heart' is one of my favorite movies. (super-underrated) -

25 Things About Me

Perdie tagged me for this thing so here are my 25 things… oh and if I tagged you, sorry dude it was mandatory. I guess after this, ya’ll are supposed to do it to haha
1. I am horribly afraid of chickens. I blame Sister Sally from The Martin Luther school. Childhood trauma, chicken attack. Dead serious
2. I stutter or talk alot and repeat myself if I really like someone that I am talking to, but am cool as a cucumber (dumb ass phrase) if I am not interested.
3. I died three times, once for almost 3 minutes but it was in a hospital so yeah I made it
4. I have 74 stories/screen plays saved on my computer because I am a closet writer. I even have them sorted by genre
5. I jump on the bed when I am angry
6. I will never tell a man that I like him because I am old fashioned and don’t like to spoil the chase
7. I just quit smoking and I am finally starting to feel a little bit better.
8. I love cartoons and zombies.
9. Despite doing almost everything I have ever wanted to do, I still sometimes feel as though something important is missing. I can’t put my finger on what it is, but it often leaves an achy feeling
10. I am happy. I am attracted to darker things and as such my writings have a tinge of sadness and turmoil, but more often than not I am pretty happy and enjoy my life (unless 9 kicks in )
11. I prefer real southern sweet tea to any other tea.
12. I have a napoleonic complex
13. The most influential song in my life was cemetery gates by pantera.
14. My feelings are easily hurt (though only a select few are able to tell when)
15. I am brutally honest about everything except when my feelings are hurt
16. I have no fear of dogs. I will walk up to any breed, pet him, rescue it, take it to the vet, etc. I feed strays, get them shots and go out of my way to find them the perfect home.
17. I read…. a lot.
18. I only eat red velvet cake with peanut butter icing for my birthday
19. I give 100% to any person, project or event that I get involved with.
20. I always have the same dream of someone knocking on my door and kissing me. I have no clue who it is because I cannot see their face but have it at least 3 nights a week. it’s kind of weird.
21. I find lips to be the sexiest part of a man
22.One day I want to move back down south and own a farmette in Pembroke
23. I sleep on my couch every night, and have done so for the past 5 years
24. I am fine with guns but am terribly afraid of knives
25. I have had a blog for years. If you happen to know the domain name you can see everything from who the cutest boys in JTHS were to when I bought my first house to battling and overcoming alcoholism in the military

WOW! Now those are very interesting! I like it a lot. hey, you really need to do something with those 74 stories/screen plays saved on your computer. I bet people would really enjoy them. Thank you so much for sharing!
