5 digit alexa club

Alexa just updated today and i'm proud to announced my enterance into the 5 digit club. It wasn't as hard as i expected. It's going to be super hard to try to break 4 digits. Who else is in the 5 digit club?

Good for you, noob, congratulations. Earlier today it looked like my alexa for libdrone had gone down again another big bit but now the tool bar is saying no rank. maybe alexa is down or something...who knows. But congrats again on breaking 5 digits.

thanks guys. i just barely made it, but just sounds good saying 5 digits. yeah it helps to post on the blog. alexa might still be updating. so give it a few hours to fully update. i'm at 92,467 for my 3 month average.

I've never looked at Alexa ranking (until now) It says I have a rank of 798,852. For what it's worth. It does provide other interesting info that I didn't realize though.

Reach has increased 20% in the last 3 months.
Traffic has increased by 132,680 in the last 3 months.
Page views have increased by 27% in the last 3 months.

Plus some other...um....stuff.

thanks ashish. mikster, i think alexa is a good way to gauge your blog with others in your niche. i think all of these tool work good. quantcast is also good.

Amazing what a little bit of attention and effort can produce. Hope the improvement is consistent.

Also, I wished that alexa would upgrade my months old thumbnail. Asked about 10 times so far.

congrats shadow! yeah alexa shoots right up when u start out. u break a million fast. and as long as you keep updating your blog and work on getting traffic to your blog, you'll break 5 digits in no time. breaking 4 digits is the hard part

  Been where I am now before. Then lost interest in what I was blogging about at the time which was a bit of everything. Now I have a theme once more, and as it is an integral part of my lifestyle I am confident my apathy will remain at bay. So I look forward to 5 figures soonish.

  I think Entrecard helps a lot. Just look at this alexa.com/data/details/traffic_details/blog.thomaslaupstad.com
  The first spike is Digg and next is because of Entrecard.
  At least that is my theory.

nice! isn't it fun when stats update. my favorite time of day is 2am so i can check yesterdays google analytics. im so addicted to blog it's crazy. it's crack i tell ya!

How long did that take? I hope I don't need 5,300 friends on here also to get that Alexa rating.

I think I am in the millions still with 6 months of blogging. You must have posted all over the internet and made tens of thousands of friends. I don't really see any other way you can get that kind of traffic so soon.

It takes about 12-16 months.

ayouthofvalour. i get anywhere from 300-550 uniques a day. thanks guys t sharing your info. it finished up dating and im at 90,111 for my 3 month average. mikeny07. u don't need to add that many, but if you do, i guess it helps. the important this is to keep working on it. keep trying new things. do alot of forums threads and networking with other bloggers. cause webmasters are the ones who have the alexa toolbar installed.

Thanks. I actually found some forums to post in that have the same topic as my blogs. You can put the link in your signature. Don't know if you get any Google juice from that. But some who read your posts may check it out.

Like having a music blog and posting on music forums.
