I'm going to be remembered (well, I'll still be alive) as the guy who obsoleted fossil fuels, revolutionized the energy industry, built a business that focused on integrity instead of dollars, improved the American economy, privately funded Stem Cell Research where the government would not, pissed a lot of Fundamentalists off, and continues to work in a science lab despite having billions of dollars.

I suspect that I won't be, except by my daughter and stepchildren.

I want to be remembered by the people who matter most in my life and they are my family members. Anything extra is extreme good luck.

Heck I will be the one sitting in my rocking chair beating people with my cane at that time. Hopefully still too young to be in a nursing home yet though. And hopefully I will be remembered for the crazy lady who made people laugh. I already know my family will remember me for who I am

That people read some of my poems and wonder what I meant and that's all. We pass out of life tranquilly.

I don't expect to be remembered by anyone other than my family. I hope future generations will be interested enough to check out some of my writing and art/photographs. We have checked out what my grandparents and great grandparents did and it made a big difference to our lives.

being remembered, i think, is enough; in a positive light would be a nice bonus.

A good father, a good husband, a good friend. I'd like to be well remembered by many grandchildren (I'll be 89, so maybe some great-grandchildren too).

Oh yeah, and the guy whose blog CHANGED THE WORLD...

  18. rfburnhertz
As the really old guy who is still kickin'.
So, pretty much just as my kids now see me.

If I'm still alive in 50 years, I will be mildly surprised. My intention is to find an academic post, teach and write until I drop dead. If I am remembered for anything, I hope it is as an inspiration to others, at least in terms of creative writing.
