I have been blogging some time and get tons of emails and messages asking me how I sell in blogs. Here's are 6 key factors you want to do on your blog.

1. DO NOT USE BLOGGER!

If you have a blog running on blogger! It will not work! Although it's a free service, you are cutting yourself from chances where you can install more powerful plugins.

A great open source software I use would be wordpress and I will design my blog around a wordpress with a hosted server.

2. Adsense Is A Waste Of Time

It's a huge fact that you cannot make US$1000 or more if you are not getting at least 10,000 clicks on your blogs.

In order to achieve that amount is silly, if you have adsense on your blog it's still ok. But it should not be your main stream income of your blogs.

What you should be doing is start blogging reviews or give advice about the niche you are talking about.

3. Collect Leads On Your Blog

You need to capture your visitors when they visit your blog. If you do not capture leads it is as good as no customers coming in your business at all.

4. Create a free gift of your own on your blog

Position yourself as an expert in the niche and create a free report of your own and give it out to your readers on your blog.

They will love it and even viral to your friends promoting your blog in return.

5. Install Tracking Stats On Your Blog

I use MyBlogLog as my tracking tool on my blog and this is a pretty awesome tool! You will be able to find hot keywords people are searching for in your niche and able to know what are the hot selling keywords that people click on your blog that converts to a sale

6. Be Honest In Your Post

Never lie in your blog post and do not try to sell too much in any blog post. People do not like to read sales page so blog with great content. If you cant write get someone in Warrior Forum to write for you.

7. Monetized Your Blog

Start to write reviews on products and services and interview real experts of the niche to give as a free report to your readers.

You can also start to sell advertisement space instead of using Adsense. You will be suprised you can earn more from banner advertising on your own then depending on Adsense.
