Whew...haven't posted for sometime. Been sorting through a lot of work, trying to organize. I've gotten encouragement from the Pryor Center, a special program connected with the University here, which records audio and visual works of individual's whose life stories may connect with a larger community/audience. Nothing ensured yet but it looks positive. This being "shameless blog promotion" I would appreciate any who have listed me as "friends" take a look and comment there on the blog posts if you feel motivated.
Such will give me a little more security as I present my work.

"Whew..." the artist sighed. "Lest I done this."

Dang, maybe my post was made too late. 10 p.m. yesterday. People out partying and not feeling up to be "groupies" for this old coot. Shee.

The artist shook his head. "Why me, Muse? How come you give - mygod! - 30 minutes of fame to Andy Warhol? And me...not even 30 SECONDS?"

Ahhh...He leaned back in his chair. Shook out another cigarette. Reached for his ligther. Shit! Musta left it over by the sink. He had just made himself another cup of instant coffee. Letting the hot water tap gush long enough to fill it up. Yep. There it was. He lit the cigarette. Took a deep breath. Exhaled. Okay. Okay, Muse. I'll give it another shot. Post again. Get it back on the list.

At least he had a response from Wagerwitch. "Thank you, Ms. Wager." He could always count on her. She was even more dependable than the Muse a lot of the time.

Actually Ralph dude - you ought to think about WRITING --- and putting pictures in every once in awhile --- I haven't seen a book like that in a LONG time... It might just sell..

You have a "rolling" way of writing and it's a very easy read.

      Think about it.

      "THE WRITING ARTIST".

You already do it - you just haven't put it ALL in one book.

Very nice. I left you a comment, as well. (I'm riding high today, since I sold 3 paintings at Arts Evening in Slidell last night.)

Enjoyed viewing your art, Ralph and left some comments.

I agree with wagerw about book possibilities. People love to know what artists are thinking when creating their art.

Yea! Thank you, folks. Just got back from an AA meeting, took off my coat, poured me some grape juice, lit a cigarette, and sit down here to check my email and onto to blogcatalog. And THANKS. Gonna kick back. Have a 9:30 p.m. snack, flip on the TV for news updates, and
maybe settle in with a good book. And yes...may just write one! (grin)
