      Buying traffic for the most part isn't adsense safe. PPC is good if your trying to bring in targeted visitors, but can get expensive if you don't get conversions.

      Has anyone had success with buying traffic, using AdSense to monetize the site, but augmenting it with posts that include affiliate links from a network like Commission Junction?
      
      In the last few months, I've only been able to get one campaign working where the commissions from the affiliate outweighed the cost of advertising. I think over 7 months, I've made $900 in commissions, but spent $1200 in advertising. I kept on hoping that things would turn around in the early days. Now I just turn the campaign off.

    The best way to drive traffic to your or anyone's blog is by publishing contents that are short and sweet... pictures (not you tube videos!) are worth a thousand words too but overdoing it might hamper dial up readers... traffic is only a direct result of quality content!!!! (...all my stupid everyday theory!) lol

    as for buying traffic... my only advice for that method is that if you don't sell something then you atleast need to get their contact details so that you can market to them in the future.
