i want to create a close knit group of amateur writers. who are looking for serious, authentic readers for their blog and wont mind paying back that favour from heart.
1. they are ready to visit all the blogs in the group once a week.
2. leave genuine, uplifting comments.
3. love to read.
4. committed to their commitments.
if i can find 10 likeminded people, lets start a blog. i write articles, short stories, and pen down my thoughts on different things.
please leave your consent if you want to start the group.

shankha,
once a week is enough i believe, i dont think we will make more than ten, i will try for a few days more and see. if we make a group of 10, then we can easily take one day for one blog.
i dont think anyone will join.
was just testing the waters before updating more stuff in my blog.
warmest wishes. -
Hi thought. I would be interested in joining you, and I believe that there are others out there who would also do the same. Like me, it's just possible that those people didn't see your question.
I am not certain what type of writing you are thinking of, but I love to both write and read, and although busy, I think a close knit group would bring a meaningful exhange.-
dear quietwaterrises,
i have seen your blogs and have liked them. you have seen both of my blogs, my idea here is to check if people read stuffs in prose form.. story, simple thinkings, a little bigger thinkings etc
if i get 5 sincere persons i will try, i think thats enough for me.
right now there are two. you and me.
lets see,
warmest wishes

I've done exactly that at flowers and it works!!
Good luck, happy writing and suggest you give your team a vision to work towards... -
Hey, I actually have a website that I started exactly like this. www.mymorningstory.com
The goal is to keep it a small community, that gears toward readers rather then the writers. This way it hopefully will generate much more comments. Check it out, let me know what you think!
cause, I would love to have more writers, and I do 3 podcasts as well ( trying to advertise the crap out of it)

What's your goal? How can comments be genuine if it's pre-agreed that they're going to be "uplifting"? I'm not at all sure that I understand what you're trying to accomplish.

I don't think he means - Uplifting - I think he means Helpful. Don't be an Axx hole about someones work, but tell them what they did wrong so they could go back and change things etc...
my site kinda works like : IF you write Crappy work, we go through and read it before its published, and then let the person know if it needs any *small changes or not* Otherwise we go ahead and publish it. Then more criticism can be received.

Hey, I am actually in the work of making a nicer "Author Page" on the website, and making it even more convienant. There's not many people yet, but I have become pretty close with the people already on the site, and they have helped me out a lot in writing. What I am doing wrong, what I am doing right etc...
You should definitely check it out, and for those of you that have your own website like mine, we should hook up (exchange links) do anything we can to share our writers among each other to make a community, within a community.
