   Agree with John Chow, agree with shorter time spans, but the searching for the widget could get people to see something they like the look of

      That is understood, it is just a personal thing that I like to know where it is. And then I look around. It kind of is, the higher the ad spot is the better. And you see all the paid for ads above the fold, why not entrecard?

   You mention it offers an extremely low interaction from other Entrecard users, which is exactly why I don't think it deserves an above the fold spot on the sidebar.

      I'm not sure one can. Entrecard advertising spot "cost" is determined by how many cards you drop per day. That's kind of building clicking and leaving into the system. I think Entrecard is a neat idea, but will die a slow death in a couple of months when people find out it's mostly a waste of time.

   Glad I came by this discussion, have been trying to find out the pros and cons of Entrecard. I joined BlogRush going by the hype, but it was no good.
