    Well that sucks, I thought I was actually getting my own black person.

    (come on that was funny)

      pointlessbanter; when you say "I thought I was actually getting my own black person did you mean as in a slave?" ( As a black man do I find it funny hmm, probably not, I have heard worst jokes though, hope that answered your question.But look you made some body laugh looks like aningeniousname finds your brand of humor funny there is hope for you yet :-)
    2. pointlessbanter
      it was a poke at slavery and the fact that they used to trade humans like items... if you can't laugh at genocide, human diasporas, dictators, and how awful we have been to each other as a human race what can you laugh at?

      I am a little disappointed you didn't have any Talib Kweli on the album
    3. thegnr
      pointlessbanter; I'm sorry that slavery,genocide,human diaporas and dictators
      don't make me laugh. It might be hard for you to understand but when you have family members and ancestors that are victims of these kinds of crimes it wouldn't be funny to you either. I don't know how you meant it since I don't know you.
    4. pointlessbanter
      Sorry you too offense to it. I didn't mean to insult you in any way.

      I have poked fun at a lot of this stuff throughout history because it is disgusting the way we treat each other.

      Talib Kweli is excellent.

      aningeniousname;
      I'm just voicing my opinions. I won't debate with you about what you find funny. At this time i'm going to shift the direction back to the original positive goal of the Discussion

    I was disappointed that "Juicy" by Notorious B.I.G. wasn't on there. I don't care who you are or where you're from, if you heard that song for the first time at a party or a club, it was freakin' anthem for the next 2 years minimum in your life.
    1. thegnr
      Kdawg68; I like juicy to but every one knows that one already not to mention the ones I have picked you might not have heard of.
  5. clioandme
    Question: How is this legal?
    1. thegnr
      Stoneman,pointlessbanter;
      I agree guys Talib Kweli is amazing. I couldn't get every body.
      whether is legal or not I will find out when I get a cease and desist message.
      It wouldn't be the first time for me.
    2. clioandme
      Ouch! I don't think I would want to go that route. You never know when they'll ask for more than a mere change of behavior. You see, you're using someone else's content to benefit in a material way.

    stoneman; it's file sharing at best and the laws are a bit foggy on the subject I checked around. I'm pretty low on the todem pole. I don't make it common practice but as a blogger we are all breaking rules to some degree. Think about how many bloggers actually get clerance on the pictures they use on their posts.
    1. clioandme
      I can't say I follow that logic, but it's your blog. Good luck.
