How many of us go out of our way to do a good deed nowadays?

Today I saw a little old Punjabi lady looking a little lost, I asked her where she wanted to go and all she could say was Sikh Temple as she didnt speak English. Knowing where the temple was and how she wouldnt understand my direction I walked her to the temple.

Half way I could see her looking nervous, this I thought would be to do with the fact that some white Englishman who is 186 cm, 95kg in weight and has scars on his head was taking her somewhere in a city she didnt know.

Seeing this I called my friend who is Sikh and he spoke to her to explain I was taking her to the temple and that Im of good character, contrary to my looks lol.

Anywho I walked this little old lady the one kilometre to the temple at which point she got a big smile on her face and kept patting my arm saying "Thank you my son".

I felt good from my good deed. What was the last good deed you did and how long ago was it?
