A Note to Comment Spammers

As of late, I've noticed there are a lot more BC members who saturation bomb threads with links to their website, whether or not it is related to the discussion they're polluting.
I think these people need to understand their place in the universe, so I'll spell it out if I may:
You are hated. If there was a grotesque traffic accident in which comment spammers were run over by a tractor trailer loaded with nuclear waste, people would laugh. If we were in Roman times and the Emperor decided to throw you to the lions, the rest of us would buy tickets at inflated prices, buy the overpriced popcorn, and applaud when the oversized felines had you for lunch.
Furthermore, people think you are unimaginative scum who have no other means of getting attention besides repeating yourself endlessly, rather like the annoying toddler who keeps shouting "I want, I want" in order to pressure his or her parents into stopping off at McDonalds for an apple pie or styrofoam ice cream.
Finally, people wish you would go away. One of the perils of an online life is the constant barrage of spam; there is enough repetition of stupid, unimaginative messages which are entirely irrelevant. The height of this phenomenon is the woman who receives an ad for Viagra; you are a close second.
I doubt this will stop any of you, but your actions carry a grievous curse: because you generate such ill will, the wheel of karma will spin, and your pseudo-clever activities, your phony sincerity, your diabolical nonsense will lead to nowhere but the hell of failure.
Now, sod off.

I agree for the most part, except for grotesque death fantasy, that for the most part is disturbing. Psychologist anyone...

what about ki$$ers
I just got one then
a private msg that reads "Dear Just added you and visited your blog. Given 2 ki$$es to your blog as well. Hope for the same favor. Thanks"
i replied "thank you for your generosity but I don't need kisses -- I have a girlfriend for that -- i would advise you to stop doing that and build some meaningful relationships with members to generate a solid base that will propagate a steady flow of traffic" -

I don't think this is new, in fact the admin guys are really onto it and have tried to prevent it as much as possible.
Would you like my link? -
Sorry, I do not concur with any of the above. Very harsh. God bless all spammers and comment-junkies, and good health to them all!

Agreed! This is the link to TonyB's no link dropping thread

I heard a comment the other day and it said "the only good thing about spammers is that they let you know what products are hot in the market" Good if you sell stuff I suppose?

LOL--too funny. Great post and I agree entirely but spammers are (among other things) too stupid to understand your point.
After all--they SPAM! Which doesn't take a whole lot of intelligence! -
Green.
Thank you. Such a pleasure to have accidentally found this posting as I was clicking out of yet another no-brainer "friending" me for dollars.
YES - these idget commenters are hated - the dingbells who think that popping over to my page in here and telling me that they have clicked sm$$les - or ki$$es, whatever it is that they write.
DUMB and STUPID. I'm blogging - I don't give a crap about their ads.
I would like to have a sign I could put up on my page that says "Don't freaking hound me in here and make me waste time finding out if you are a real person that I want to network with."
If you are real, write me a real message.

I think I'm going to start stalking spammers who comment in my shoutbox...start acting really clingy and angry with them when they don't reply to my shouts...I think it'll be fun!
