Edited to remove negative opinion about keeping endangered wildlife as exotic pets.
No, I do not fantasize about keeping tigers or any other large mammals. -
No, never really fantasized about that.
I have fancied flying on the back of a giant goose, but that is a different story. -
My husband suggests that before you take on a pet tiger or two, get yourself a Yorkshire Terrier puppy and take note of the tooth-inflicted dents and bruises you get as a result. He has no interest in a tiger, the Yorkie, which is now almost 7 months old, is ferocious enough for him!

In pure fantasy land, sure it would be cool to have a pet tiger. in reality I think holding a wild animal captive for your own amusement is pretty mean and I think the danger of being killed or wounded far outweighs any positives that could come as a result of havign a pet tiger.

I love this video of a pet lion playing ball with his owners in London

You can see photo links and more about it here.

I'd like to have a pet elephant. He'd provide transportation, and any burglar who dared enter my property would get the shock of his life.

I would love to have a wolf or a cheetah, but a tiger, lion, or cougar might be too unwieldy. You can actually tame a cheetah pretty easilly (Harold & Kumar jokes aside) and it was common in Ancient Persia to keep them. They only stopped because they cost so much to feed and required so much space to be comfortable, but for someone living out on a cattle ranch it might be manageable. Just give him an allowance of the cattle hide.

I would not want one. Number one, they're dangerous, and number 2, they should be in the wild with their own kind.

I've always wanted a Tiger as a pet. I'm just scared that after awhile I'll start to look like a walking meal to it

I personally would love to own my own SnowLeopard and have dreamed about playing with them and even sharing a cave with them. I think they are one of the most beautiful creatures on this earth and I have a few large paintings of them in my home.
I see them as not only being pleasing to the eyes and soft to the touch, but are mighty and powerful and full of strength.
So yes, I would love to raise one of my own and would if I had the means to do so and I wouldn't feel guilty about it either. -
I would also love to have some exotic mammal as an addition to the family. But I guess I will have to do with my dream of a pitch black doberman called Dante. Sigh.

I have a friend who has two bangle tigers. Also another friend who had a panther which had been rescued. However, someone broke into their home and let the cat out. It got into something while missing, and fell ill. When they took it to the vet, they took the cat away from them.
