Here goes. In 1962, GM built a turbine powered car. It could run on almost any liquid fuel. In 1977, they built another turbine model. In 1996 they built the Eco-Jet biodiesel turbine.

What if the turbine concept had caught on more. Design Line is building Turbine Electric hybrid buses using Capstone Turbine turbines.

There are designs for turbine trucks and trains.

Wind turbines are supposed to be able to supply up to 10% of our energy.

There have been a lot of interesting advances in the use of turbines. Already, tidal turbines to generate electricity are being built which could power a significant number of homes.

Also solar concentrator turbines are being built which generate steam to turn turbines.

There are other examples like hydroelectric turbines.

Of course, recently, there has been an around the world flight using jets running on 100% biofuel.

Don't forget about the turbines in Nuclear Power Stations. Polybore love's them.

If it helps the enviroment and the earth it would be great. I dont understand why can't Solar energy be made more efficient.

There are more efficient designs for solar photovoltaic panels. The latest hope is magnified solar concentrators.http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2307313,00.asp
There are a number of companies working on this. If it proves to work, the cost could possibly match the cost of coal energy and be scaled.

I'm still developing the idea. It is more based on the concept of world building than anything else.

    Part of post.

One of the major problems facing municipalities is waste.

Sweden has begun a process of using waste to produce biogas which runs trains and buses. It is kind of gross in a way. Biogas can run any engine capable of running compressed natural gas. In Sweden they have run a train on methanol from sewage as well as buses. www.iht.com/articles/2008/05/27/business/greencol28.php

    Complete post.
