No problem Chick. Knew you were busy with Fball anyway. Rock on!!

My wife can draft a fantasy team with the best of 'em...guess that's the result of spending years with a husband who is known for drawing up blitzing schemes on napkins and explaining complex formations ad nauseum.

I'll have to check this site out. Always into a refreshing "new" take on things beyond the tired pundits you usually see.

Impressive. Drawing up blitzing schemes...now that's obsessive. You must be glad season is rolling around.

I'll check it out. I'm a football fan. My older son and I are in 3 fantasy leagues together, 2 drafted now 1 to draft on the weekend.

TC a football fan then eh?
    1. tcinvestor
A bit. Trying to work out a trip with some old high school buds to connect for a game this year. Oh what a riot that will be.
    2. stayfitbug
Football, the best game ever i think. Although i'm not into it as much as i was.

I'm more of a baseball fan than a football fan--but I am definitely a sports-minded woman. I love baseball, basketball, and football--in that order. I keep up with all of them.
    1. tcinvestor
The fact that you like the crotch tuggin, "no I don't take Steroids", temper tantrum, crybaby crowd we won't hold that against you because you Melinda are just that cool and a rock star with a cause. How can you not love that.

attractive and likes football? Something sounds fishy to me...
    1. tcinvestor
No fishiness. Promise. Just ask Chick.
    2. Chick0712
wow, that's original Dbowles1017. Like i haven't heard that a million times before.
In all seriousness, this is why i left this site a while ago, because no one talks solid football.
Thanks TC for trying to start this thread, but seriously.....my blog is all over, I'm published in several media outlets and i sure do not need to prop myself. Thanks again, have a kicken day kids!

I love football and while I am no expert, I can talk good football with the best of the boys. I watch and keep up on most happenings around the NFL and look forward to the new season starting soon.

Edit: The links don't work and apparently Chick has left BC. TC could you PM me with her blog link?

    j/k

A guy took his blonde girlfriend to her first football game,

they had great seats right behind their team's bench.

After the game, he asked her how she liked the experience.

    'Oh, I really liked it,'

she replied, 'especially the tight pants and all the big muscles,

but I just couldn't understand why they were

killing each other over 25 cents..'

Dumbfounded, her date asked, 'What do you mean?'

'Well, they flipped a coin, one team got it and then for the rest of

the game, all they kept screaming was:

'Get the quarterback! Get the quarterback!'

    I'm like...Helloooooo? It's only 25 cents.”
    1. tcinvestor
A Sunday morning blonde joke. Chick is a blonde. Watch out.
    2. harveyavatar
      Chick evidently knows her football

    1. tcinvestor
      Suzie. Who you watching today?
    2. MissSuzie
They're showing the Patriots / Jets game in my area, so I'll be watching that.
    3. tcinvestor
Right on. No Cinci game in your area? Blackout in effect?
    4. FreakSmack
Miss Suzie - Bengal's game should be here if you are interested.

Right on Freak. Hey, BTW - every time I visit your blog I can't leave a message. Today I am gonna try a different browser and operating system and see if that works. Funny stuff on there.
    6. MissSuzie
      Thanks FreakSmack!

I know my football but don't support it anymore. There are better ways to spend that kind of money. I don't begrudge my husband's enjoyment of it, though (he's watching the Saints right now, actually.)
  14. theAWWWBUTmum
In NZ its RUGBY or RUGBY LEAGUE - both are done without pads..mmm..huge hits, tactical defense, blitzing offence - and no I'm not slagging the Football we just don't get the coverage here - BUT regardless I am a sport freak - not just the ruggas - tennis, netball, basketball, ANYTHING except Baseball - more boring than watching paint dry!
