Awesome feature! A little like Wink, huh? Going to add ours now! (I also promoted BlogCatalog today on our MySpace profile, which can be found at blog.MySpace.com/PayPerPost)

I see some of you are entering the FULL url. Just enter your username for each service and it will link you up automatically.

If any one has any suggestions for other online services they would like to see, just let us know here or at webmaster@blogcatalog.com

You're right, it could go on, there are like a gazillion communities out there. Maybe tony should place a limit, say 15 or something. Also there is always voting that could be brought in to this, to see what the majority wants/likes/thinks.
They could also set it up so that it is a drop down box, instead of the way it is now. That could also help so it doesn't look or get cluttery. -
Looks good. I understand the theory of communities to some extent, but haven't participated in many. What I experienced (not here) helped me to decide on a general policy of avoiding communities and concentrate on following discussion strings.
Looks like it's time to test the water again.-
Even if you're trying to avoid a ton of communities, you can help promote your blog a tad at Bumpzee, MyBlogLog, and Technorati. I don't get a lot of traffic from those places, because I don't do a lot there, but I have had some new traffic, which I'm guessing is a good thing. Also, I've heard Cooper say she keeps track of her favorite blogs over at MyBlogLog, and I've had some people from here add me to their favorites at Technorati. Since much of this is about networking, it can't hurt. But I"m not going to post my instant messaging address. And I can't see ever getting a Twitter account, unless my family suddenly wanted to keep track of me that way.
