Adding e-stores to blog?

Does anyone know how I can add an e-store to sell books on my wordpress blog? I'd like to add that capability but not sure if I can.

I've seen a lot of people use this...not sure if it's what you mean but they do have a category for books. Or do you mean you want to sell books you've written?

If you are referring to a free hosted wordpress.com blog you cannot advertise and you cannot conduct business on your blog via paypal, or a shopping cart, etc.

If you want a monetized blog then wordpress.com is not for you. The only exception aside from VIP hosting at $600. per setup and $300. per month for the hosting, provided your blog qualifies as a VIP blog wordpress.com/vip-hosting/ is found here:

You can try searching for plugins @ wordpress.org/extend/plugins/

i am using eBay affiliate program to integrate with all my blog(s) thus creating my own 'e-store'. Alternatively, you might have to look for hosting plans that could integrate their own e-store into wordpress.

If everything else fails, just create a separate estore and link them together. Have fun!

  If she is referring to her wordpress.com free hosted blog (ie. the second url above www.wifeandmomof3.net ) then I can say definitively that what I posted above applies. But if she means the first one (www.wifeandmomof3.net) and it's a self hosted wordpress.org install then she can find plugins at the link your provided.

Thanks guys! I figured I wouldn't be able to add one in my wordpress hosted site but I'll try that link for the self-hosted one.
