   Oh dear, I've taught Flash for 6 years now, their upgrades are ridiculous, in the second last version they changed aActionscript getValue to value, only a mad person would do that. It was bad enough when Macromedia had it. Adobe software is even worse. The only upgrade that would be worth implementing would be sorting out their menus properly and maybe a paint brush or two. If you had to teach this stuff year after year you'd realize how stupid it is. It's not done for the user, I'm frightened to look.

   to be honest your blog doesn't say anything about it and there are some video links. if you want to right a decent blog about it, maybe it would be nice to watch the videos and write a real review of what's happening, the things that you have listed in your post sound like the it's the editor not the player. but thanks for pointing out that there is an upgrade
