Just curious what bloggers out there think about ads on your blog.

All of the ads are small and off to the side, which I like. The LEGO ad is animated, but not one of those really jittery or otherwise really distracting kind. It isn't one of those bandwidth-hogging video ads that keep people with slow connections like mine from accessing your site.
The Google ads WOULD BE tasteful and unobtrusive if the background wasn't chartreuse. To my eye, it clashes more than a little with your faded blue background. Do you have control over that ad color scheme, or did Google do that to you? -
I won't watch tv channels with ads and I won't list to radio channels with ads. So I most certainly won't read blogs with ads, (unless they are discreet and I can ignore them).
Just one woman's opinon.-
I forgot to add that I'm like 46.6% of those surfing the internet. I use a Firefox browser with AdBlockPlus so I don't have to see advertising on blogs. www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_stats.asp

Don't mind them, although they can be irritating when they are plastered all over the place. I certainly won't leave them out of mine. If people do not like them, well fair enough, your call.
I'm still working around which ads to use, how many and where they should go. Currently, I think I have more than I wish to. I'm thinking I might just use stuff (for ads) that I personally use or have used.
I do think at times, that those that are anti-ads have this idea that you can't enjoy something and make money off it at the same time. I find that a bit funny if it is the case. I don't see any harm in trying to make money off something you like doing instead of doing something you can't stand for the sake of money, in order to do the things you actually enjoy. Boggle boggle.
But I guess it can be other factors, some people just get annoyed by them, the look, etc. Again, personal choice =p
