Anyone had any good or bad experiences from blogcatalog.
I have nearly completed my blogcatalog ebook which stretches to about 45 pages at the moment. I would love to get some blogcatalog members quotes or whatever for the end of the book as a reference. You will receive a link to your blogcatalog profile and your blog of your choosing.
So just drop your bit here along with your blogcatalog profile link and the link to the blog you want adding.

Heres mine.
I was a virgin before I joined Blogcatalog and would hang about outside old peoples homes hoping to get a small glimpse of that sweet sweet granny flesh. But since joining Blogcatalog I've had pussy coming out my ears!! I'd definitely recommend it.

BlogCatalog has ruined my personal life, kept me up countless nights, and has prevented me from cleaning my apartment for the last 6 months!!

For a blogger who may not be 100% tech savyy, I've really appreciated having the kind assistance from my fellow BC-ers when I've had specific tech questions. Plus, where else can you hang out with smart, weird and funny folks from all over the globe and talk about blogging? Or talk about not-blogging. Or baking soda. Or...

Ah Blogcatolog - that incessantly and horrendously addictive place for bloggers and smart-asses, and of course the ever present know-it-all just to spice things up. A fantastic virtual watering hole for horses, barbies, ninjas, babies that read and type all too well, animals that always look surprised, slightly abusive and way too cocky cartoon characters and so forth.
I say come on in, it's like the Hotel California. Heh
Wait, where's the door? Where's the door?! Oh my god I'm trapped in here!
LOL seriously though, BC has become my blog social groups of choice for a variety of reasons.
You can give me any quote you want

I'm a newb to BlogCatalog, just came in a couple days ago, while fooling around spreading my public blog around to feeder sites like BlogCatalog that like to suck up blogs. I must say, Blogcatalog delivers the most action for the buck (FREE IS PRETTY GOOD!). I suspect if I spend some time around here I'll figure out how to find more blog-buds whose interests align with mine. My comment: I see a resurgence of the old 90's "$MAKE $MONEY ON YOUR $WEBSITE!!!! crap" everywhere; only now it's "$MAKE $MONEY ON YOUR $BLOG!!!!" A blog is just a website with some content management built in. Simple math plus a little common sense about the overall money supply assures that only a few people will get rich from their blog and I am probably not one of them and most probably, neither are you.
I'd love a copy of the e book when you are done with it.

Chris [or insert whatever name you're going by, Crkian] is an incredibly active and helpful member on BlogCatalog. If he doesn't know the answer to your BlogCatalog question, no one does.

BlogCatalog is all about community - yes, you can easily find relevant blogs through the social network's index but the best benefit stems from the authenticity, camaraderie and dynamics of the overall BC community.
The BC threads alone are addictive enough. One can immediately connect with others and build genuine friendships. I will not be surprised when I hear about two bloggers meeting from BC and getting married!

BlogCatalog has done a lot of good for me. It was the first blog community I decided to join and I'm glad I did. It's turning out to be a great experience and I'm meeting people who do what I do and I'm learning how to improve my blog for my readers and for my wallet in some cases.

After sitting before computer, the first site I open is my blog positivensuccess.blogspot.com/ and then always BlogCatalog and then only other sites. I let the BC open throughout whole the session I stay on the net.

We launched our free flowers contests here, discovered great blogs to feature at flowers and invited a few to become founders at GO! Smell the flowers......
This place cracked it when it moved from a mono listing to real dialogue which encouraged like mind to connect and unconnect at will.
Group hug anyone?

I will cheat and copy what I wrote in the comments of that tech crunch article a while back.
As just an everyday kind of simple blogger, I added my blog to BC willy nilly, along with quite a few other sites, then I forgot about it for a long time.
I am not clear what drew me back, I think it was the addition of the discussion boards, where a technology challenged person like myself got some help.
Ever since then I have been hooked and I am continually impressed by the new features they have added.
I think a big plus point is that all types of blogs and bloggers are found here, anything from mommy bloggers, politics, humour to cooking etc. -

Hi,
I am so glad that I found blogcatatlog. Without it I don't think that I would have been put onto the fast track of web traffic and it's resources. Everyday that I log into BlogCatalog I make new friends and find more ways to stretch my creativity.

BC, so far, is the most effective blog directory and community out on the Net, if not the best.
Great feel on the community side (not just another dull forum). Great involvement of the members.
Cheers!

Words can not express!
The BC has been like a constant drug for me ever since I signed up.
I'm so serious, it's not even funny.
Before BC, I always laughed at people with addictions.
Now I have one! LOL!!!
I have to laugh or I'm goin to cry.
How pathetic is that?
Seriously - the best blog directory on the web!
Amazing features, easy to use, stream-lined (smooth as a baby's bottom), etc!
Love this place!
PS Anyone know a BC Addiction group I can go to?
BCA - Blog Catalogers Anonymous
LOL!!!
