I just responded as a comment to a previous post about changing one's blog title and its ramifications on PR and indexing. The above blog is awesome for technical information regarding Wordpress. Kevin's blog was also in the running for "best designed blog of 2007". I wish I could make my site that "crisp and clear". I use Movable Type, but still read his site for tips and articles. He points out some things that can help you better promote your blog through proper technical design. Hope it helps.

Thanxs, for the tip. I have visited his site, he has quite a nice collection of WP themes. I was looking for one for my new vegetarian blog, and nothing quite fit. But he does have some good ones for certain niche topics.

Missy, Check these out... I was pretty impressed with the templates and well I have looked at TONS of them this past week. Cheers

I love his ideas! I read about 3 of his articles and I surely learned a lot from them. I especially liked his article on Web semantics. I'm keen on Web standards and the Section 508 accessibility guidelines but haven't really thought about going further into semantics. The article convinced me enough that I'm now gonna explore Web semantics more.

I never thought that the default/Kubrick theme for WordPress isn't semantic. I realized I've been using the wrong weights all along.

    Thanks for the link!

Chris Pearson is an awesome designer, he also designed the copyblogger theme, and the new theme Brian Clark is using on copyblogger ( www.copyblogger.com/the-copyblogger-theme-for-wordpress/ ), and he made the cutline theme ( cutline.tubetorial.com ) and a bunch of others. He's one busy man!

I just found this blog the other day, and I agree. Lots of interesting stuff here!

I particularly like his tips on how to fix up your archives. Of course, it requires rebuilding my crappy archives page, so it may take me a while to get around to using it...
