Am I the only one annoyed with no nav bar?

I find I get irrationally irritated when I'm hitting "next blog" on blogger and I reach a page that took away the nav bar. I did this with my last blog and refuse to do it with my current blog because I realize how annoying it can be. I understand it is a way to eliminate one less way off of your page, and seemingly will make people take that extra second to see what you are about, but I feel like this puts me in some kind of weird contract. I feel like I'm dealing with a salesman who locks the door after entering his office. Please, allow me a quicker way out.
Also, I find that even when you hit back and then next blog again, you get 2 new blogs, then end up right back and the same nav-less blog!!
Its simply frustrating the cereal out of me!
I just needed to vent.
Am I the only one??

Every time I hit "next", I get a blog that's written in Spanish. Does that happen to you too? I feel your pain!

And it's not that I don't mind other languages popping up, but is there an option to switch to English? They should make a better user friendly nav bar. Oh, by the way, I love your blog - reading it now. Good stuff and especially from a fellow NYer!

Yeah I was wondering the same. Having the language option would make things so much easier.
Thanks for the compliments. I'm glad you like! I can't wait to get to make tonights post. I'm getting to know some pretty cool people around the community here. Trying to make my blog feel more at home for them too. I'm actually including a BC user i met today in tonights post.

Good luck with it and have fun! When I first started blogging it was so exciting. Sometimes you get burnt out a touch from it, but if you have a passion for expressing yourself, which I see you do, you'll never grow old from blogging. Keep up the great work! I'm a fan!

Thanks mucho. I love writing. I've actually been doing this for years but I'm a very *hit refresh* and start over person. This one is by far my fav because I finally stopped thinking and just let it all come out. I love it. You keep it up as well. I'm feeling your blog. I LOVE LOVE life blogs. I think other peoples lives and interactions are far more interesting than most informative blogs. I'll google or read the news but I cruise blogs for entertainment quality. Great job miss.

Actually polybore removed their nav bar just the other day. Had to really because the search function was not working properly.
Never had many visitors via the nav bar but 90% or so of polybore's visitors come from google and the like and they often use the search on the nav bar. Obviously polybore does not want them to get a false nill return on a search (which is what was happening).
So the nav bar had to go, until it gets fixed anyway.
Actually the nav bar search problem seems to be effecting a number of blogger users so it might be worth checking to see if you are effected.
Wrote a post about it which includes a link to google where you can give them your blog URL if it is effected. Because it is relevant hope noone minds polybore including a link to the post, www.polybore.co.uk/2009/09/blogger-nav-bar-search-not-working.html -

The nav. bar just seem to be random blogs; blogs that I more then likely I'm not going to be even to enjoy reading.
That's why I use people profiles to find blogs that I would be interested in reading. If you fill out thing like location, interest, favorite music, etc on your blogger profile then those things become clickable and you can find other people (and their blogs) with simular interest.
Or if there is a blog you like you can check out their profile and click on some of their interest to find people (and their blogs) with similar interest.
I should add that my blog would be one of those without the nav. bar. -
