Is there somone here in BC that like an Italian singer. Because to tell you the truth in Italy we have very good italians singers, but few of them are known abroad.

    Never heard about Pino Daniele, Franco Battiato, Elisa (which songs are also in English),Giorgia (very nice voice)? There are many others but it depends on taste!

    there are very few italian singers I know of..
    Pavarotti, because who doesn't know him
    Zucchero, because he was in the Freddie Mercury tribute concert.. he wasn't that good
    Paola and Chiara, because "Viva el Amor" received extensive airplay back here and because they are soo damn hot

    I had the pleasure to meet Luciano Pavarotti several times when I worked in the Hampton House on Central Park West.
    Always pleasant and a gentleman. Oh yeah, he can sing as well.

    Big fan of Enrico Caruso. His recording of vesti la giubba brings tears to my eyes.
