Can we edit only 5000 posts in blogger?

I have a blog with 6995 posts. when i visit - Dashboard - Edit Posts, blogger show i can edit only 5000 posts. I see the line in right side (1 – 300 of 5000 Older › Oldest »), but in dashboard i will see 6995 posts.
can anyone tell me why this happen.
