And It's A Foul Ball

This past Saturday, I had the pleasure of taking my boyfriend (who was visiting) to a baseball game at PNC Park against the Washington Nationals.

During the game, we were talking and I hear "FOUL BALL". I looked up and saw the ball coming towards our section. Matt and I thought the ball was going to land a couple of rows in front of us. Boy, we were wrong! The ball ends up smacking my upper thigh of my left leg. The viewers around us ended up asking me if I was "ok". I was at first, but when I started to stand up and sit down, that's when the pain started. Currently, I have a big, nasty bruise on my thigh. It hurts like hell and I have to watch what I do.

Those foul balls usually pick the nicest thighs too

I got hit by a line drive while pitching for a softball team a year or two ago. Same thing happened. At first I was fine, but by the end of the game had a big painful bruise on my thigh. By the next day it was worse...all purple and yellow. Took a good three weeks to go away.

  Mine is all black and blue with a bit of red =(. If I go to the game tomorrow, I'm bringing a hat.
