I reckon that men that use actresses, sexy babes and pretty women as their avatars are so annoying that most people won't visit their blogs

i couldn't really care less about the avatar someone uses. a good blog stays a good blog.-
I dunno.
If a guy is using a female avatar and trying to make us believe he is that woman, then I'm not sure if it is a "good blog" or not. It could be extremely misleading, including in ways that could be harmful to readers.
At the very least, it's fradulent and misleading, which takes it out of the "good blog" category for me.

But yes. I think its the best way to get urself heard..
Though I've never tried it one my friends experiemnted this by making 2 ids on digg and inviting 1000 friends - one with a female avatar and another with male.
Successful coverts - 371 with female and 165 for male

what, to get lots of other useless blokes sniffing around because you've got a half dressed woman as an avatar, are you serious, you may as well collect cockroaches :-)
