One of the preparation before using the internet is to install antivirus and antitrojan.
I am looking for a antivirus and antitrojan, can you share with me about your experience in this?

free: AVG, Umbrella etc
paid: Kaspersky internet security (KIS) or KAV etc, Norton 360 (I am using this) or Internt. sec or sytemworks etc.
illegal: search and download from torrent sites, or again, GOOOOOOOGLEEEEEEEEE man! ever heard about GOOGLE Search?

someone has offered to me kapsterky with discounts, but I have not purchased because I have not set the option about this antivirus.

I'm new with Vista and All I can think is Windows Defender is the best..-
I have not used vista, in my opinion, vista is the new operating system, This means, not many viruses that attack.

I've been using Eset for years without any problems what-so-ever. -
Try Avast...the home version is free and they keep it updated. It's first-class. -
I use Avast with Windows Vista and it works fine. I also have Windows Defender on my machine and this works great as well -
try avg internet security. -
how about avira antivir?

Windows Defender might not be very powerful. My antitrojan is to reinstall everything.-
what is your antitrojan?

NOD32 is pretty good.. It's not intended as a full time running program tho.. My advice is to install AVG is your primary scanner.. Microsoft seems to like it if that matters to you... Then install NOD32 and set it up to run only when you tell it too. -
