Any HTML Expert out there? Blur line here

The horizontal line < hr > on top and the bottom of my adsense code seems blurry, not sharp enough.

Is there anything I can do to make the color go grey and as sharp as possible like the eg: the < hr > horizontal line here (look above, the line below the "Discussions") on BC?

    Why don't you do what 99% of the other people do?

    1) NEVER use < hr > lines or images associated with your adsense code (it's against TOS anyway)

    2) add the border to the ads directly during the creation of the adsense code

      You sure about this? The "against the TOS"?

      no, not 100% sure about the HR lines - just the images 100%, but I'm 100% certain using HR lines around google adsense is in poor taste. That's just i.m.o. of course, when the solution is an easy option.

      if you are accepting suggestions, I would get rid of the 468x60 and the HR tags, from its current location and instead embed a 120x240 right adjusted in the content ... as currently the ads don't appear to be quite relevant or effective at all ... I am getting weird 'warez' type of ads .. must be too close to the top menu navigation
