Any other "laid off" or "unemployed" bloggers out there?

I was laid off back in June. I had WAY too much time on my hands, overflowing emotions, and a big lack of motivation to even get dressed on many days. So, I started blogging about the "active leisure" lifestyle of the unemployed. It has been therapeutic for me. I can share my struggles & daily observations with other people who can relate. I have also tried to give every circumstance a bit of humor, if for no other reason than it helps me get through each day!
I also found that there are many other people who have lost their jobs who took to blogging.
So, I'm just wondering, if you were laid off, do you blog and if so, about what?

I have not lost my job, but everyone at my work has foregone their last two cost-of-living adjustments (the equivalent of two pay cuts) and many people have been offered fewer hours of work each week. I know it is happening everywhere, but that doesn't make a person feel the slightest bit better, does it?
I was interested to see you write "So, I started blogging about the active leisure lifestyle of the unemployed. It has been therapeutic for me. I can share my struggles & daily observations with other people who can relate".
Come into the Discussion called Has Your Own Blog Ever Accidentally Helped You? (www.blogcatalog.com/discuss/entry/has-your-own-blog-ever-accidentally-helpe...) and tell your story. You are creating exactly the impact I was looking for.
Good luck with the struggle! -
Well seeing as how I'm not allowed to link drop,if anyone that comes to this thread wants their own bailout....go to my profile page. I have an idea that just might work if the "barneys" in DC would take their heads outta the clouds and realize its a damn sad day in the usa, when u have to pay out 8 bux for a bag of potatoes...

I did not wait to be included in the list of the retrenched employees.
I made my decision to quit my job. I was tired of waiting to get expelled from the company and now I found interesting to do my own thing.
I have realized that I have a passion in writing. Sounds funny for a former engineer like me because I hate literatures, reading and writing before. Now, aside from my passion in Mathematics,Algebra,Calculus, and the like ( passion in numbers, which are essential for engineers like me in doing some calcultions, etc)I have developed my interest in writing.
Anybody interested to know my articles you can make comments there.
Below are my articles that keep me busy aside from my other business:

I would say that the above links keep me busy in exchange for my regular 5x8 office job! -
I'm on disability so the work I can do is limited. Where I work part time can't afford to keep the full time employees hours up so I'm left next to no hours and can't find other work.
I started to blog about my disability, bipolar disorder. It's helped me 'come out' to people I know and help them understand me as well as help others like me be more confident to share their story.
