   I was into the Second Life thing for a little while, but it kept making my laptop crash. Here's something interesting I noticed, though: in the parts of Second Life where I tended to go, which were...ahem...well, let's not go into the details...I was struck by how predominantly female users were, and not only that, but that the vast majority were lesbians, or at least bisexual. Then, gradually, it struck me that, most likely, the vast majority were men pretending to be lesbians. Then, thinking about it some more, isn't the great thing about virtual worlds that you can be whatever or whoever you want?

   i think i have like two second life accts. tried to get into it, cause i'm a fan of Sims. but didn't really like it. graphics were choppy at best, and very laggy gameplay. and hard to get conversation going with other players. and when i played, not a lot of players were online.
