I just signed up for FriendFeed. I'm not really sure what I'm doing there yet, but it seems kinda cool so far.

Anyone want to shed some light on it?

Like it?

Hate it?

Greatest idea ever?

Waste of time?

I've only been on it for about 10 days and I don't have many "friends" yet or much experience using it so I'm not in a position to give you a critique but I'm liking it. It picks up my posts immediately after publication and autoposts them to twitter for me.

Edit: I approved your friend request.

Thanks! I appreciate that TT! I like the fact that it picks up my blogs feed immediately. I haven't told it to automatically tweet the feed though. That's pretty neat!

I'm just getting into it and I do like the autopost to twitter feature.

One of the things friendfeed suggests is that you import your facebook...BUT I HAVEN'T FULLY FIGURED OUT FACEBOOK YET! LOL

I deleted my first Facebook account. Granted it may bring you traffic but it's so full of internet marketers and members talking about making money that I didn't feel I "fit" there. So I can't help you with that. Maybe I can find a tutorial.

If you want to import your Facebook status, you must have "Allow friends to subscribe to my status" checked on the "Status Updates" custom privacy setting at www.facebook.com/login.... This is the default, but a few people have customized it away.

In the comments I see this: Facebook has changed their interface since these instructions were posted. Unfortunately, they seem to have eliminated the "Status Updates" RSS feed entirely. If you can find it, let me know. - Paul Buchheit Facebook has changed their interface since these instructions were posted. I think I like Facebook, but it has so much to it that it's overwhelming. I'll figure it out if I ever get time to play with it.
