Hi BC Universe,
I am currently experimenting with the world of guest posts so I am looking for bloggers to write a guest post for one of my blogs.
If interested here are the options:
1. Gears of Rock - All things rock music(hard rock, heavy metal, etc)
2. Gears of Pop - All things related to pop-culture (TV, Movies, etc)
3. Awesome Blog Tips - How to blog for newbies
You can access the blogs through my profile because it is wrong to link drop here. Let me know below or message me if you want to write a post.

um. well, i'd like to guest blog. i used to do a pop culture blog, too, before doing this fiction writing one. so i'd guest blog for you. i guess i'll have to have a lawyer talk to you first, or something? sign a waiver? or just message me with more details about what kind of guest blogging you were thinking...your posts seem short, and i tend to write long entries.

Asking for guest posts isn't a silly idea, but your site has a lot of copyrighted material on it. You shouldn't be posting videos you don't have permissions to.

gee Stillthinking .. way to crack that whip! Maybe he didn't know about the rules & reg's concerning this .. advice is great, espically if you know something someone else does not but maybe offer it as a suggestion, not a scolding ..
just my two cents and I'm sure I'll get hell for it .. lol -
No worries. I did not take it as a scolding. Also, I do not embed material that is illegally placed on YouTube. For example, if CBS themselves places a trailer on YouTube, I might embed it for reference purposes only to a show I wanted to comment on. If say CBS did not want people to do so, they can easily restrict the embed feature. Never meant to copyright infringe. Besides, there is so much spamming on this site that goes unnoticed that I should be the absolute last target for any scolding abuse.
By the way, as of 7:53 PM Eastern Standard Time, Stillthinking has a photo still from a copyrighted feature film known as "Slumdog Millionaire" on a post concerning Love and Destiny.-
That's not how to go about things, Gears of Rock.
What are you doing? You can point out her copyright inconsistancies in her shout-box, and click private. She didn't start a thread and tell people to look at her blog for the purpose of finding a guest author. You did that. You're blog got critiqued and you couldn't take the constructive critisim.
Try making connections instead of posting silly crap to get people in trouble. That's not what we are here for - to point fingers at eachothers blogs and point out the legal inconsistancies in such a specific way. Why did you write the TIME??
She simply said u generally have some copywrite issues, you turned around and found something wrong with her blog and pasted it here for everyone to see.. what if the slumdog director reads these forums? Why did you write the TIME???
I think you owe a certain cat an apology

yeah that copyright stuff is true. the dmca is always sending me threatening emails for posting copyrighted music on my blog. i dont do it anymore but they still send me notices. i dont get much flack for the videos i post though.
anyway, id be interested in guest posting on your pop culture blog. i have one myself. its always cool to see blogging really working as a community.
