Anyone ranked on Google for specific key words?

I just saw that not my blog.. BUT my blog catalog profile was on the forth page of Google for the keywords "make money online free"!
I'm pretty excited! 
Anyone else ranked highly at google for any specific keywords?
Any tips on how?
As for me, I'm clueless as to how it ended up there.

When looking at the phrases people enter my site with, then I rank first page, top 5 or even first, for most of them on Google. My name or even just my BC alias usually ranks me first as well.
It isn't difficult ranking first for more specific things - what's difficult is doing it in the competition with everybody else for general terms or keywords.
At some point when I get some free time, I'll rewrite the blog engine to better suit my SEO needs. -
i get first page results for "Buddhist tatoos" in google and yahoo
the words say yant, and yant, normally give me first rank.
Khmer sanskrit also brings me results as well as "temple tattoos"
"thai brahmin also gets me the first 5 results, but the forst 2 are blog catalog entries. so i am thrid with direct link to my site. it took me a week to take the jkeyword from thai brahman breeder.com -

Anything weight lifting related I have a good position in the big G, its took me 11 months from starting my blog to getting a maximum 17953 visitors (last month).-
Wow that's great! I wish I could get that many visitors some day.. Off course I just started my blog a couple months ago tho. Sometime in Nov last year I believe. :/

These are just a few, optimising your site for relevant keywords is simply the best way to drive traffic to your site.
Ranking for make money online free in 4th place should bring in a healthy bit of traffic -

How do you find your rank for specific keywords?
Btw, the weirdest keyword someone used to hit recently is

I have no idea who Tim tebow is (or didn't until I googled him) and I don't know his girlfriend, either -
I'm not sure how others do it but I have visitor counter that lets me see how people find my blog, what refer them to my blog.
Most of my traffic is from google searches on terms like: swallowing baby teeth OR marshmallow sculptures.
I see that on those terms, described above, my blog shows up generally on the first page. Although I still have a 0 page rank for google. LOL
I've written some blog post on how my kids have swallowed their baby teeth and one post about them making a marshmallow sculptures.Those post seem to be the most poplar things on my blog.
I wish I new how to add a widget that would allow a link to the most poplar post on my 'homepage'. Not only that but would automatically update it if another post became more popular. -
LOL. neither do I. And I'm not sure how you find out either. I just happened to stumble upon mine there. I'm no SEO expert that's why I guess I was so excited when I saw it there

On a serious note I've just googled 'parabolic solar cooker' - yippee, I've finally made it to page one. About bloody time.
Now it's time for those 24 visitors who search that term each month to come a knocking on my door :-)-

Another method to reach-out would be to have a MASSIVE advertising budget and use adwords to create a massive campaign.
I have always presumed this is what the big boys do. Have you seen how much it costs to advertise on the likes of yahoo email and the suchlike. Ouch.
For us mere mortals though, we continue to plug away, and self-promote in the hope that one day we can be kings of our own 'virtual' castles and ultimately top of the pile.

On some of our rank words we are on the first or second page and others are still being worked on. We are new to all this too. But it never hirts to ask how because thats the only way we have been learning. One thing we have learnd that there is a lot of ways to get there but not all are right for your site. -

I was ranking number one for "SEO Campbell River". A spam site recently knocked me down to number two. The article:

tells you how to get the number one position for terms that aren't too competitive. -
A fair few I have in the pipelines, in, there or about, but the game just gives me a headache, murder constantly going through them, becomes almost fanatical, best just to chill and hope something magical happens.

i get varied results for "Dhamma Blog" - sometimes first sometimes fourth.. i also notice it is different with dofferent gooles depending on which country one searches from. I bookmark various goole sites (eg google us, google singapore, google espana etc) and check out the same keyword.. i get best results froom google thailand but then most of my sites are thailand based.. now i moved to singapore and am making some singapore related sites and will see which ones get ranking.. normally all my sites get top 3 rank on forst page for my chosen key word. i get no. 1 in the world for "sak yant" and also high rank for "temple tattoos" (3rd on first page), "khmer tattoos" (no 1 in world) and "Ruesi" (no 1 on world) and "thai buddhist tattoos" (no. 1 in world) buddist amulets (5th on first page of google for a blogspot site). "Dharma Thai" gets me number one in world on google with thai and singapore gogle at least. as for spanish - "tatuajes tailandes" (thai tattoos) gets me number one in google on page one.... i have lots more sites with number one position too.. i have found the secret of getting in google yahoo and msn.. msn im not too good at though my seo techniques are more google orientated.. you cant please all the search engines all the time.. only some of the time
