   Are you with host gator, or is your site on a server in The Planet's HD1 data center? If so, they've been down all day due to an electrical fire

      @Carlgalloway - I am with hostbrains.com ,yeah electrical fire has brought 9000 website down...
      
      I am afraid this isn't the case with blogote... I feel like getting some other hosting plan but don't want to waste the money invested in this!

      I kinda agree with abhinavsood, downtime like that and not able to contact anyone isn't a good sign, and your host may have a reason but ultimately its your site thats down, although this is the message I see at your hosts website which does not look good

      @abhinavsood and Carlgalloway - I talked with the hostbrains.com owner Amit Bhawani and he said that their was one guy who was sending 5000+ mails at a stress which caused the downtime and they have suspended his account.So no more problem of downtime now.
      
      In more than 231 days this is the first time they have faced downtime (I am kinda unlucky to be the part of it)(see this www.webhostingstuff.com/uptime/HostBrains.html)
      
      99.95% is awesome.Now blogote.com is up and running super fast :-)
      
      I am really happy with the response of the hostbrains.com Owner.I hope everything goes fine :-) But I must say their Support is too good!

      That's really awesome on two levels, first that your site is back up and running, and also its really nice to hear a positive hosting story with real first-hand experience. Might have to look your host up for future projects of my own. Thanks.
