I have to confess that when my kids began watching the clay animation show "Shaun the Sheep," I liked it even more than they did. It is a quirky show about barnyard animals and there is no talking. I love this kind of animation. I have even gotten my parents and some friends liking the show.

Has anyone ever seen it?

I am not sure I have seen this one but I thought maybe it was a spinoff from Wallace and Gromit? Wonder if they will make more of those?

I don't think it's a spin-off, but it is similar animation. My kids like Wallace and Gromit as well.

Shaun was in one of the early Wallace & Gromit pieces, so, yup. It's a spin-off.

      I believe it's this one:

    Yup, it's quite charming, really.

And I crack up every time Shaun and the Sheep do those dancing interludes between skits.

Was there a Shaun the Sheep show on TV that showed several episodes in one show? I've only seen them on an individual basis.

They've put a few of the different episodes together on a couple different DVDs. But I don't know if they ran on TV at all in the UK, or if they just went straight to DVD.

On one episode, a goat is eating everything in sight. Every time he eats something, he burps and bleats (neeeeee!) Now when my 5 year old eats, she pretends to burp and then bleats like a goat. It kills me.

So are these the same sheep used in the mattress commericals? Excuse my ignorance, kids are grown.
