@aspotofblog
- I do believe that you will recognize what I am re-posting (see the Premable below). When I posted the comment above yesterday I stopped looked in the sidebar at the avatar of the member who tailgates me from thread to thread clicking the report button, then I inserted the title and link to my humorous blog post following the Premable.
What happened to my comment? That's easily explained. I have a stalker who has a pattern of reporting my comments and getting them removed.

Bloggers are people. All people are unique. Some can become obsessive.
Please take a deep breath and consider the following:
Constantly thinking about your next blog post could be one of the signs of a blogging addiction.
Being unable to observe any interesting event anywhere without turning it into a blog post in your mind could likewise be a tell tale sign.
And, dreaming about blogging is a strong indication that you have crossed the line.
So, are you ready to take the Bloggers’ Pledge? Or, do you have just one more post that you have to publish before you do?

In a way that can be true.Blogger is a kind of creature,is well nourished and stuffed with observation, understandings, delivered and often free as flies.A blogger works really hard to maintain his position and reputation. In that sense he is a regular worker. That requires support by getting comments and acceptance by readers. On the whole blogger is that ,who creates and distributes his own logs.

There are different levels of bloggers, some good and some are bad? What makes a good Blogger and why?
-
I would say it is subjective and depends on what one is interested in reading. Some can write well but are boring, some can be poor writers but be very interesting. Depends on the subject as well.
What makes a good blogger for me is consistency, a template that isn't distracting, no distracting ads, an interesting subject, good writing and good images.

Bloggers are somebody whore read and write it back. or they are willing to share something, to create more and more knowledgeable/ know how/interesting world. Either they are doing it for fun, serious for money or just to earn some fame, as long as they don't spam, all are welcome. Now everybody can write and socialize.

Bloggers: they definitely have bigger beards, fewer thumbs and eat more artichokes than most people:
I also think that your question kind of flows into the following disucssion:

I feel bloggers are different in the sense that they can sit for hours together, be with themselves, think, and write..though people do such activities in other professions as well but the number of such individuals is certainly less.

Bloggers are people who love to shwcase their interest and need followers to be happy. Do bloggers really need followers?
-
I really want followers. Even with my years of writing/drawing in sketch journals, I always did so with the hope that someday my version of my life would be available to others. "Attention must be paid." I don't know who said that but the words resonate with me. I have no descendants, no one to tell stories to their children of what "Dad" or "Grandpa" did. Stories I grew up hearing and retelling and enjoying. The need is within me. To tell my own story. And hopefully pass it on.

That's a generalization.
Me? I don't mind having 'followers.' But I'm at least as interested in total traffic. My income relies partly on advertising, and traffic = clicks = checks in the mail.
Philistine? Capitalistic? Well, yes, sort of. But I've gotten into the habit of regular meals: and Minnesota winters are easier to weather, with four walls, a roof, and a furnace.
