No not all diamonds are real. There are synthetic diamonds out there, and, yes, you should have a diamond inspected before buying it.

Ya, there's also technology out there that "grows" diamonds from slices of diamonds. There is no difference between these and natural.
Only way to tell is via the laser etching - this company has to put their initials on there ... and I can't remember what they are!!! Something like "AT" or "AC".
Oh, and there are companies that will make diamonds out of the deceased ...

diamonds are naturally made in the earth so yes they are real, and yes I guess if you are not sure it's real ask for documentation or deal with a respectable jeweler

A natural diamond can be treated to enhance colour. So can other stones.
There are also synthetic stones...either created in the lab so they are chemically the same as a natural stone, or just outright fakes.
It is best to stick to buying diamonds and other gemstones through reputable jewellers who sell certified stones.

All diamonds are real except the ones that are fake
Besides asking your jeweler if your diamond is authentic, you should also ask how that diamond was obtained. No blood diamonds - I'd rather have a cubic zarconia. -
Not every site provides certified and natural diamonds. but some site also provide a real diamonds and they are guaranteed for that like a www.mividazul.com

A site can disappear overnight. If a site certifies a diamond but the site is in another country, you will have hell to pay trying to get a refund for a flawed or misrepresented diamond.
I buy and wear gemstone jewellery and I never buy from any but bonafide jewellers and I buy only certified stones.
