You can never hold a decent conversation with a dolphin.

thatz zause u cant speak dolphin

but in terms of teamwork and their internal communication and understanding their own species they sure outsmart us

I have a friend that did, I'm not sure what they said. I had enough trouble trying to understand her in normal conversations. It's amazing how some people can make the next line after 'hello' very complex. :-)

In fact a lot of people have been swimming with them over here and they are very playful.

    2. friedclyde
its probably the one who does the most work, most animals have leaders of the packs that gets the first choice at everything, we have presidents too

if the people that put them there weren't so dumb they wouldn't put them there

They spend their days playing with other dolphins or even humans if they are nearby, or eating, or having sex. If they aren't smarter, they are as sure as hell a lot luckier.

No, because they don't appreciate the amazing uses of BAKING SODA

I recently heard an interview of a trainer who is now an activist against the use of dolphins in the movie industry or attraction parks. One of the things he said that really struck me is that he personally witnessed what he called "suicides". The dolphins in captivity get anxious and depressed to the point of taking their own lives. They also have a complex way of communicating with each other. Many testimonies of dolphins coming to humans' rescue - I'd say they are smart and definitely compassionate. That's enough for me to route in favor of dolphins. Hey, visit my blog, primates are pretty cool too.

It depends on what humans you're talking about. I've seen sheep that sre smarter than some people.

Well, they don't pollute, create radioactive waste, drive cars, litter, rob banks, go into politics, poison other animals, smoke, waste electricity, build bombs, use guns, or chop down forests. I think that's pretty smart of them.

I think they're smart as in how they communicate and survive etc. but I'm not sure about them being superior or even equal to the human race. Who the hell knows haha.
