Are .info Domains Useless?

I have a couple of .info domains which I am using for sites I have started up but still working on.
I have visited a few forums and some people seem to think .info domains are useless but don’t say why even when promoted to explain why.
I see them as being just fine – so far they are doing the job I want them to do.
What are your thoughts?
Do any of you have .info domains?

It will go just fine.. Try .com domains

What so ever,google will look only at fresh , unique and keyword rich content.

I do had a .ifo website but the .com was doing great..

Not at all, its true that .com domains
are more catchy and noobs tends to take
every domain name as .com domain but everything
depends on stuff and promotion by owner

I myself has gstek.info domain
May be successful ??

I have never heard of a dot info boom or bust. This is a dot com industry. But best wishes with your dot info sites.
