Does a country or its citizen needs politicians? Can we do without them?

We are not a society that can go on un-governed...although there are aspects of the government that seem to be phased out by popular opinion... Even if there were't "politics" there would be a natural formation of power...it's been that way since forever.

Just like we need sausage makers, we need people in the government to make, judge, and enforce the laws.
"Laws are like sausages, it is better not to see them being made."

Politicians...necessary? Without them here in America we wouldn't have anyone to tell us how free and democratic we are.

Politicians are neccesary because they bog down and tie up government so us citizens can be largely left alone. Next time you think of your freedom, thank a politican!

They are required to divide a single nation into many small groups.
Politicians work on the principle : "divide and rule". -

THE ANIMAL KINGDOM gets along just fine without them. Let's kick em out and see what happens. WHAT COULD IT HURT?

Can we do without the ones we have now? Of course. Can we do without any at all? Of course not. We are a self-governing society, and governing is politics. If you want to remain a free society, they're vital. If you don't want to, getting rid of politicians and everybody else who thinks for themselves is the first step.
