Sometimes, I include content on my blog that makes my wife uncomfortable, because she has a more conservative view about what should be shared about our personal life (particularly in the bedroom). I'm curious:

a) Do your spouses or partners react negatively to anything you post?

b) How do you balance the desire to be provocative and funny without hurting someone who could cut something off your body while you sleep?

Thanks.

My hubby doesnt read my blog nor care what I talk about. As long as I dont post pictures of him nude or of his butt he doesnt care.

Why doesn't he read your blog? Shouldn't he be your biggest fan?

My wife reads mine...in fact, I can usually tell from the other room, when I hear, "Brian...can you come in here for a minute?"

My hubby doesnt like to be on the computer at all. He is a farmer and a welder. He has "Better things to do with his time" He gets on here to get info on his bees, pigs, and to read craigslist want adds for farming.

My ex knows about my blog and has read a few posts. His head is so far up his arse that he doesn't care.

Being as I am the one who would do the cutting, I write whatever the hell I want to.

My case is different from yours as my spouse is no longer with me. All I can say is talk to her about it, explain your view, and listen to hers. Then come to a comfortable compromise.

I'm hesitant to write anything negative about my ex, except in the most light-hearted, self-deprecating way, because I don't want to risk my kids from that marriage being hurt. It's a fine line for me...others?

I don't write about my personal life so it's not a problem for me. But my wife doesn't read my blog anyway. She gets enough of me in everyday life.

Neither one of my blogs is *that* sort of blog, so he doesn't care. He likes 'em and encourages me to do them.

My hubby & I support one another's blogs & when we disagree about something, we're mature enough to discuss it & respect one anothers' POV (although we tend to agree on most things.)

That seems like the most rational response...

We pride ourselves on trying to be as rational as possible, actually. *L*

I don't have a spouse, therefore I write what I want. A few POAs are aware I write about them, but they know there is nothing they can do so they keep their mouths zipped. As I write under a psuedonym, my blog can't be traced back to me anyways. I do have some family members/friends reading, so I don't post anything that is a direct jab at them - but then, I have no need to because the retarded antics of the male species provides plenty of material without having to disect family and friends. =)

So you're a big fan of the male species, then?
