Are there any free casual fun multiplayer online games out there?

Sometimes I get a little bored and I want to play a quick game. I sold all my game systems so now all I have is my pc. Are there any games online that are free and fun, and that I can pick up and play? I'm not really a gamer, and I'll only do it from time to time, so nothing intense.

Wait, do people still play this game? I remember I played it like... in 2003... beta, but I guess it never got out of beta.

Right now I'm playing pool on yahoo games. Anyone who wants to get torn up, bring it... LOL.

That site isn't bad. It has more soltaire games than anything else, but you can still find decent other type of games and they load in seconds.
You can also check www.shockwave.com/home.jsp . It's more like yahoo, but personally, I like it better. You can sample a boatload of downloadable games, some of which are really good.
