    Lots of really good site but most will not let you plug your blog or ask for links or any such stuff. So if you are here for that reason than I'd say no, this is the main one for that purpose.

    Define "as good as" Not to be flippant, but it really depends on what you are hoping to get out of it. BC isn't bad for decent general discussion. I'm not sure how well it does for blog promotion as I never payed much attention to the numbers. There are a lot of forums out there which are a lot more "social" imho, but that doesn't mean BC is bad.
